Important change in the Torx screw assortment per january 1, 2025

We would like to inform you about an important change to our chipboard screw assortment, effective January 1, 2025. This adjustment is part of our ongoing efforts to optimize our product range and better meet your needs.

QZ, Neutral Line, and Private Labels

• Diameter 3.5: Torx 15 will be replaced by Torx 20.
• Diameter 5.0: Torx 25 will be replaced by Torx 20.

• Diameter 3.5: Torx 15 will be replaced by Torx 20.
• Diameter 5.0: Torx 20 is already in use.

We refer private label customers to their own account manager if you have not yet received the list from them.

Item numbers and EAN
In addition, we have created new item numbers and EAN codes. These have already been processed in EZbase and DGE, and you will find them in your price list. Private label customers are being contacted regarding their preferences.

Users convenience

This change reduces the frequency of bit replacements, leading to increased operational efficiency and a higher likelihood of using the correct bit for each screw.

Additionally, it minimizes downtime during assembly, enhances overall productivity, and reduces the risk of damaging screws due to incorrect bit usage.

April 1st, 2025

After a transition period of up to 3 months, we will have fully switched to the new configurations by April 1^st, 2025. During this period, it is possible that you will receive both old and new versions.

Yellow Zincplated
In the yellow zincplated range, it has been decided to implement the transition in phases. This means that for all fast-moving items, we will follow the procedure mentioned above.

For all so-called slow movers, the transition will only occur once the current (old) version is sold out. This concerns a few sizes. For more information, please refer to the crosslist.
